The mechanic used in this are
1) 1 Belt and Pulley system.
2) 3 Swinging Lever
The system below make use of the circular motion generated by the moving of the body that is transferred through the Pulley and Belt system to the center wheel that has a wrist pin. The wrist pin will ensure that the swinging lever is able to move left and right without backlash.
At the top of the swinging lever, there is a flat smooth surface layered with rubber. The bottom potion of the circular second base is also layered with rubber. This is to allow the top of the swinging lever to move the second base left and right without slip.
The other 2 swinging lever are there to make the left and right motion of the second base become oscillating, which is connected to the duck, which in turn will also make the duck oscillate.

The table has linkages and a pivot point. Welded on the pivot point is a piece of straight metal to only allow the linkage to move one way and also locks the table legs in place when they are fully open.
