This picture shows a foldable table. It has a problem, when it is open the stands will stand upright. However, when it is closed, the stands sometimes do not attach to the table and thus is very hard to close it.
Suggestion
We can use a linkage lock using hooks on the table to attach the stand to it. As seen in the picture. Doing this, the stand would be ensured to be secured to the table when it is closed.
