eLearning Lesson 2 by Tim_Yap (23)

Part 1

Mechanism A (gears) : The bicycle. By pushing down on the pedal, the chain gear gets turned, which rotates the wheel. The two pedals always maintain a 180 degree distance from each other.

Mechanism B (levers): The piano. When the keys are pressed, the hammer inside the system is activated and knocks a string, thus producing the specific note.

Mechanism C (pulleys) : The roll-up blinds. This involves the application of pulleys to assist the rolling up of the blind when it is required for convenient pass through.

Mechanism D: The correction tape. When pressed down firmly on the paper and pulled back, the wheels inside rotate according to allow the movement of the fluid-filled tape and the storage of the empty tape.
